Executed in-depth R&D to harness emerging technologies and cost-effective supplier components, securing the future of products with over 15 patents.
Communication Protocol SDK
Designing and implementing a suite of features, including custom-built BLE & MQTT communication protocol and dataflow. A SDK was developed and packaged for internal testing and for use by third parties.
Product Testing App
Developed an internal testing app for robotics products, ensuring compliance with TUV safety regulations using Kotlin and integrating with the BLE SDK for thorough testing.
CAN-based Communication System & Testing Tools
Designed and implemented a communication system for the next generation's product, featuring CAN-based protocols. Additionally, I developed custom testing tools to expedite the testing and verification of the said protocols and CAN data.
AI-Integrable Robotics Platform
Prototype platform for the next generation product line, emphasizing modularity and communication efficiency. Utilized a Dockerized environment to streamline the deployment process.
R2C2 Limited (opens in a new tab) - Software Engineer (2020 - 2022)
Developed an integrated Robotics Teleoperation Platform with a Webview front-end, designed and implemented onboard software systems, and engineered AWS backend infrastructure. Deployed on mutiple quadruple robots including Boston Dynamics Spot.
ARC System (opens in a new tab)
Robotics Teleoperated Platform, integrating features such as real-time video streaming, autonomous patrolling, edge AI capability, BIM Constructing and remote control. Led the multi-level system design using Nvidia Jetson SBC, Python, C++, ROS, React, Node, Nginx and AWS. With Lidar & VSLAM technologies, implementing localization, 3D mapping, and pathfinding algorithms for autonomous functionality.
Rockclass.ai
A government-driven AI rock classification project with Web-based interface to upload, pre-process rock samples and then inference AI models to analysis rock sample; Utilizing technologies including AWS, JavaScript, Python, jQuery, Nginx, React, and Canvas.
